Rating for the Brass accent pool triangles is 4 to 5 stars. Normally they are made well and have a good finish.
The rating for the Mahogany drum sticks would be a 1 to 2 star at this time.
Since December the quality really fell off. We buy a lot of these and then we make personalized gifts out of them. We cannot sell these to our customers! The quality of the finish is horrible. They usually have scratches through the finish, or splintered edges. All of them have a poor poly coat that has flakes and opaque patches.
My opinion is that during the very busy Christmas season they have to rush production. The rush causes quality issues, then people quit buying causing a surplus of quality issues. Then they finally get through the poor quality around mid year. It is very frustrating as a small business owner to not be able to count on a quality product from this company.
When they are not rushed the quality is good, just maybe some handling issues with nicks and scratches occasionally.
